About Resound
RESOUND serves the Orlando community through concerts, theatre and creative gatherings that awaken wonder and longing. From Broadway classics to biblical stories, RESOUND creates experiences where creativity and community intersect—inviting audiences to explore the deepest questions of what it means to be human.
Founded by Broadway performers Stephen and Juliette Trafton, RESOUND was born out of a desire to bring meaningful, high-quality storytelling to Central Florida. After years on New York’s theater scene, the Traftons relocated to Orlando and discovered a city eager for authentic community and rich artistic experiences.
In a place that welcomes more than 74 million visitors each year—and is known for world-class entertainment—they saw an opportunity to create performances that do more than impress. RESOUND offers concerts and theatrical works that speak honestly to our longings and form communities that are welcoming to those exploring life’s deeper questions.
At its core, RESOUND is about creating space—where beauty, story and human connection come alive.
About Our Founders
Stephen and Juliette Trafton are husband-and-wife performers with professional experience on Broadway, national tours, Off-Broadway productions, Disney Cruise Lines, and regional theatres around the country. Their credits include Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, and The Fantasticks. Together, they have shared thousands of performances that bring story, music, and imagination to life.
As co-founders of Living Letters and RESOUND, they create theatrical performances, concerts, and artistic gatherings that invite audiences to explore the human experience through story, music, and creativity. Their programs include immersive storytelling, Broadway-inspired concerts, worship nights, musical theatre camps, and masterclasses for young artists, fostering artistry, collaboration, and community engagement.
Both trained in musical theatre and acting—Stephen at Baldwin-Wallace College and Juliette at Abilene Christian University, with additional improv training at Upright Citizens Brigade and SAK Comedy Lab—they combine professional excellence with an intimate, deeply human approach. Additionally, their work has been featured at the Museum of the Bible, major conferences, and schools nationwide.
Based in Orlando with their three children, the Traftons are dedicated to cultivating wonder, creativity, and connection in their city, helping people encounter stories and experiences that inspire, challenge, and transform.
